Players wrap their tops in a thin, 60-cm long cord, used to launch the tops onto the playing surface of a canvas fabric sheet, partially stretched over a bucket or similar items.

The winner is the player with the longuest top spin or the one who successfully knocks the opponent's top out of the playing area.

Made of cast iron, these spinning tops are pretty hard to wrap and to learn, we often say: "If you can wrap a beigoma, you can wrap everything!"
